— FOR BOARDS

AI for the C-level, from decision to ROI.

Five questions a board must answer before the first zloty spent on AI. Plus a framework of risks and metrics that we teach in our workshops.

— DEFINITION

For boards is the yesfor.ai track for C-level decision-makers (CEO, COO, CFO, VP Strategy). We focus on strategic decisions: whether to adopt, when, where, with what budget, with what governance. Not technology, decisions.

Three numbers every board should know.

95%

of GenAI rollouts generate no measurable ROI

MIT NANDA, July 2025

28%

of AI projects in I&O reach the expected ROI

Gartner I&O Report, April 2026

$40B

spent on GenAI with no return in 2024-2025

MIT NANDA, 2025

Five questions before the first zloty.

  1. 01

    Is our company ready?

Most boards do not know. The AI Readiness Audit answers that question in 2 weeks, with a number (0-100) and a list of blockers. Without it, every AI decision is a decision made blind.

  2. 02

    Where exactly should AI sit?

“We are adopting AI” is not a strategy. A strategy is a specific process, a specific KPI, a specific pilot. The audit gives you a list of 5 to 10 quick wins that are ready for AI right away.

  3. 03

    When will we see ROI?

We measure in weeks, not quarters. An 8 to 12 week pilot with a baseline, then rollout, then measurement. Without a baseline there is no ROI, only a narrative.

  4. 04

    What if the pilot fails?

We stop the project. A pilot-first approach gives you the option to STOP without losing 500,000 PLN. That is the foundation of AI governance: scale only once value is proven.

  5. 05

Who owns AI in the company?

Without an owner, AI becomes a political project. The first AI Officer / VP AI / Head of AI is not a technical role, it is a decision-making role. The audit helps you set it up.

A board does not need to understand ML models. It needs to understand the decisions around AI, their cost, their risk and their metrics.

— FUNDING

Most of our services qualify for KFS co-funding of up to 80% (AI priority 2026), a Polish National Training Fund programme. For companies operating in Poland, the real cost of board training can be below 3,000 PLN.

Four categories of risk that governance has to address.

Operational

  • · LLM hallucinations in customer-facing processes
  • · No fallback when AI fails
  • · Model drift over time

Regulatory

  • · EU AI Act (high-risk systems)
  • · GDPR and training data
  • · A regulator audit with no documentation

Reputational

  • · Bias in AI decisions
  • · Data leakage through prompt injection
  • · Marketing claims that do not match the facts

Financial

  • · Cost overrun on LLM infrastructure
  • · Vendor lock-in (OpenAI/Anthropic)
  • · No ROI a year into the rollout
